I Want to know the gospel.

Are you saved? That seems like a simple question with a simple answer.  If you asked people who had just been rescued that question you would not get answers like I hope so, I think so. They would know that they have been saved. Yet, in the Christian realm there seems to be this uncertainty as to many peoples salvation. The reason we see such confusion is that different churches have different answers to the question. What I find is many people going to church have no clue as to what the scriptures teaches. They have relied upon the teachings of others to stimulate their intelligible minds. So when they go to different denominations and hear all the different doctrines then there is confusion, disunity, and disorder. To combat the confusion someone might say “one church is just as good as the other“, or “God will just save everybody in the end”. It’s no wonder the world looks at the church and falls out of it’s seat laughing. I want you to know that nobody laughed at the early church. They saw the early church as a treat to their false religions and philosophy. People coming to Christianity because they had one message. When false doctrine began to enter the church the Apostle stood up and put the false teachers to shame. But then the Apostles died off and people were left to study the scriptures on their own. It doesn’t take long before false doctrines begin to enter the church. The reason is because people do not take the time to study the bible. In my debates with many atheist I find they do not want to debate those who know the scriptures they are looking for those who are weak in knowledge. It is easier for them to convert children and new Christians. So the ball gets thrown in your court. Do you want to know the Gospel or do you want to be confused? Are you saved? If your unsure about that question I would think you would want to know. The way you begin to know is by opening up your bible and reading.
