There is no way that we can stop them from coming. But we can have the influence that might change their life. That takes a commitment on our part to be in the word. Not just to read it but to study. Look at what verse five indicates about such men. “They deliberately forget” might better be translated “They overlooked the facts”. The prime example is how Israel came out of Eygpt and ended up spending for years in the wilderness because of scoffers. They ignored the evidence or forgot how God had brought them out. What we need to remember is that God only needs to speak the word one time and things are going to happen. Just because its been over 2000 years since Christ ascended into heaven. We can not grow weary and abandon our faith. We have to remember there will be a day of judgment. The day of judgment is going to happen on Gods time table. Malachi 4:1 “Surely the day is coming; it will burn like a furnace. All the arrogant and evildoers will be stubble, and the day that is coming will set them on fire, says the Lord Almighty. Not a root or a branch will be left to them. That is why there is still a time of repentance. ,During this time God has offered his plan of salvation. 1. Hear the Gospel. Romans 10:13-18
